As it stands right now, I am leaning towards the pick being Iowa tight end T.J. Hockenson, but the consensus of Taylor being the pick did make me ask a relevant question. Why aren’t we talking about Alabama offensive tackle Jonah Williams?Right tackle is obviously a need for the Jaguars, even with the amount of bodies they have who can play the position currently, so it makes sense a lot of draft analysts would slot in Taylor for the pick... but why is it a consensus Taylor? No one mixes in Jonah Williams? Taylor is viewed by most as a right tackle only, while some view Williams as a left tackle, right tackle or even a guard. If that’s the case, isn’t Jonah the more valuable pick with the seventh overall pick because he can play all over the line at a high level? He’s played right tackle before in college at Alabama, coincidentally when Jaguars left tackle Cam Robinson was starting at left tackle and kept Williams on the right side. There’s also another thing with Williams only a few people have picked up by now, but there’s a connection there with head coach Doug Marrone. Brent Key Womens Brandon Linder Jersey , the offensive line coach at Alabama, played under Marrone when Marrone was the offensive line coach for Georgia Tech. Key is also someone Marrone has leaned on in the past when evaluating offensive lineman.“That was the one thing when I was talking to coach Key, who I coached, who was a tough football player himself, knows what I’m looking for, knows what I like,” Marrone said back in 2017 after the Jaguars picked Cam Robinson in the second round. “Hey, I need to know: Is this kid a tough kid? He said, ‘Absolutely.’ And that really means a lot because of the relationship I had with coach Key.”I’ve made my personal opinion on picking a right tackle with the No. 7 overall pick known, but if that is the route the Jaguars plan to go on Thursday evening, I would think someone like Jonah Williams would make a lot more sense than someone like Jawaan Taylor would. It seems unlikely any team moves to London http://www.thejaguarslockerroom.com/authentic-niles-paul-jersey , with the logistics making it difficult for any team to call the UK home. After a report surfaced linking the Chargers to a London move, Chargers owner Dean Spanos, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones and the NFL quickly shot it down. Spanos called the report “a lot of crap” and used even more profane language denying it.Jaguars owner Shad Khan, whose team would seem the most likely to move if any team were ever to call London home, offered his denial, too.“Personally, in my humble opinion, I don’t think it’s anywhere near close to that,” Khan told Rich Eisen of the NFL. “We don’t want to have more games than there’s really organic demand for.” The Jaguars play an annual game in London, and Khan wants to extend that partnership with the deal set to expire after the 2020 season.“The idea I had was, why don’t we sell the games we can in Jacksonville and then play a game and make a long-term commitment to London Corey Grant Jersey , which frankly, a lot of people thought was very crazy,” Khan told Eisen. “But I think it’s turned out to be great, and we need London to really have a stable franchise in Jacksonville.”The Jaguars, though, have no plans to make London their permanent home. It will remain their home away from home with Jacksonville their primary home.“Well, I think no, there are no plans for us to move the team to London,” Khan said.
